Just wondering if anyone knows if Sasha & Diggers are playing together or seperately at Welcome 2001??? I know that we silly people up in Sydney have decided to split the pair, just hoping that it is not repeated in Melbourne, which is where i will be invading.

I don't think they'll play back to back - especially seeing Digweed is playing in Sydney as well. My guess is that Sasha will play over NYE and Digweed will play 4-7, or something like that.

No - word has it that Sasha is playing 10-1am at mobilehome in Sydney. What i'm hoping for is that they will both play the same set in Sydney, ie, Sasha @ mobilehome and Diggers @ Welcome Sydney, then catch a plane down to Melbourne to play together, from say 3 till close (fingers crossed). They are on the bill together, so this would be my ultimate wish. But it would be good to have some official news on the matter, this is all hearsay.

i live in brisbane and am having troubles finding out who to contact in regards to getting a ticket for welcome. can anyone tell me and also the cost?

I saw correspondence from future ent and they write that Sasha&Digweed will play 4.30 am - 9.00 am together.

OK, as i just posted on the other thread, i've read at the www.muzikweekly.com newsletter that:

"Sasha and John Digweed, meanwhile, are both heading for the Antipodean delights of Austrailia. Sasha plays on Bondi Beach just outside Sydney with Radio 1's Pete Tong, before heading flying straight over to Melbourne to finish the night. Similarly, Digweed plays across town from Sasha at the Olympic Hall, before joining his occasional DJ partner in Melbourne for a 4.30-6am set."

Actually the latest news out is that Sasha is playing Welcome at the Docks at 2 - 5 am then Sean Quinn is on 5 - 7am and then Diggers comes on at 7am - 10am.
