what did people think of Hardware 17 last night?

I thought that after a bit of a dull start lekebush continued very strongly and then laurent garnier was absolutely beautiful! he wan't all hard monotonous banging, his music was truly beautiful. although i think i'm kinda over man with a red face now - that continued a little long for me, but nonetheless the crowd loved it!

sydney-siders, i know the tickets are expensive but definitely go!

gees, Hardware 17 had one of the worse crowds ever! was very disappointed with that. Early on, i had trouble breathing in the Idoru room..however that room rocked, absolutely ROCKED!>>. no comment for the planet hardware..

hmm.. I had a great night... but not thanks to Garnier... I think his set was more like a jazz concert than something you'd expect at a docklands rave... but as I said I had a good time... Cari was OK... but to tell you the truth.. I had more fun with most of the Melbourne DJs.

Guys, I totally agree...chek out my comments in the Sydney forum titled...."not so beautiful garnier!"
he was ordinary.....

Nope I disagree, I haven't been out in Melbourne for some time (Sydney lass) and thought his set was great. Really well crafted.

I actually spent most of the night in the Planet Hardware room as I prefer my music with a bit more, hmmm, groove, rather than hard techno....

Insert "typical Sydney-sider not tough enough for slammin' techno" comment here

Hardware was awesome in my view.

Cari is fucking insane! he was soooo good, so much talent. Yeah Garnier wasn't exactly banging but it was very good what he was doing nonetheless.

Best parties ever? Sheesh. HW17 was certainly there worst party for a long time, and the sound, well that was just an absolute joke. $50 my ass.

Best parties ever? Sheesh. HW17 was certainly there worst party for a long time, and the sound, well that was just an absolute joke. My setup in my bedroom would have rivalled that setup, damn bloody piss poor. $50 my ass.

Compared to sydney 'parties', I thought it was good.

As for the sound, it wasn't loud, but well equalised. Slight amount of reverb in the main room, but nothing to get too worried about especially keeping in mind that the acoustics in a warehouse are pretty bad at the best of times.

The setup in my bedroom would be clearer, thats about it:) That sequencer that garnier was using would be nice though.

It was the first one I ever went too, wont be the last, and if thats a bad one, I can't wait to see a good one.
