In the "worst nightclub" thread, Midro has been accused of being cheesy. It's because he is playing what you normally hear at QBH. Where do you draw the line? Does it really matter???
The general rule for self righteous accusations of "cheesyness" is that if it's on the charts (or gets a local release), if it is played on stations like HITZ FM or TT FM, it's cheezy. When it comes down to it though, recent trends in dance music show that the appeal of the underground-exclusive-I-have-the-only-copy-on-vinyl-in-Melbourne crowd is growing and crossing over. Spiller, Modjo, Daft Punk, Underworld (marginally), Alan Braxe, BT. This is something to celebrate rather than bag, or is it the end of the world as we know it?
