Hey peoples,

Im seriously thinking about getting a CDJ800 and a CDJ1000. Ive been ringing around trying to find out the best prices. I was just wondering what you think a good price would be for a new CDJ800 and CDJ1000?

At the momment the best price I can get for the 800 is $1050, and for the CDJ1000 - $1700.

I think the 800 is a good deal.. I read somewhere the cost price for the 800 is $1000 so theyre only making $50 on that... not sure about the CDJ1000 tho.

There's about 40% markup on RRP over cost price with Pioneer DJ gear. Anything near to that is a good deal.

ah okay. Do you think $1700 is too steep for a CDJ 1000 MKIII then?

If you buy a package deal JB usually get the MKIII down to between 1500-1600 each...

$1050 for a 800 seems like a good deal, I never see any 800 second hand for less than $800, so for $250 more you get a new one and warranty...Good deal
As for 1000MKIII surely if you can get at $1500 new is a good deal, MkII can be found on ebay from time to time, still looking at over $1000 always for the 1000 even Mk1 are not cheap.

Good luck

thanks for the info!

I'll try haggle them down to 1500-1600 for the CDJ1000 and if they wont do that.. I might just get 2 CDJ800s for $2100.
