this is a note to any perth people out there who may be looking at this site and wondering if it has anything to do with the scene in perth whatsoever, or is it all sydney and melbourne??? fear not, we are expanding, and are slowly building up our contacts, reporters, knowledge etc of dance music culture and electronica in the west. and with local people too!! none of that know-it-all-and-rule-from-the-east kinda stuff with ITM! there is plenty in the whatson section if u r looking for events to go to, especially on nye. plenty more to come... check out some interviews of late with some of the dj's coming here over the summer.
anyone interested in knowing more about what's happening now and what's happening for the future, email me

yes we live in Perth, the best place to be on New Years wil most definately be Science Fiction at Belmont Park. It will be insane, Went there for Ministry and danced my legs off, Troy in on the Techno floor played a unbelieveable set, who ever is going there new years have a great one cause it will be bliss.

Well, I'm not for perth, in fact I've never even been to perth, but I am keen to see inthemix get a bit more in tune with WA.
It's great to hear that a few of you are out there, and as SumPhreak says, if you've got any ideas about how we can do that better for you guys in perth, don't be shy.
I'd love to hear what people thought of science fiction. What a line up you guys had. fantastic.
techboy :-)
Just wondering when someone is going to get the Science Fiction review up?

i have started a thread on "live sets" in the sydney forum section. this was in relation to joel mull at science fiction. any other thoughts, feel free to discuss here.

All you Perth cats who love deep house should really go and check out Alton Miller - the man is a master, among Detroit's finest, and honestly there are people from Melbourne who would have gone over to catch the man DJ had they known he was out there. I just wish he was hitting the East Coast.
Also check out his new album Rhythm Exposed out locally through Stomp.
Peace

I am glad to say i didn' go to Sci-fi since I really wanted to see DJ Heaven again since I loved her work last year. The review was not so good on her, such a shame

hmmmm
If the Science Fiction review is anything to go by you guys seem to love your breaks and techno.... I'd be interested to hear more about what your 'scene' is like.
