Okay, I don't reptend to know much about digital cameras, but I've been offered what I think is a pretty good deal on a camera. Just wanted to know whether the camera is a good camera and whether the price i've been offered is a good price.
Canon Ixus 900Ti - $350
10.0 Megapixels.
Striking Titanium body
Canon 3x optical zoom lens.
XGA (1024 x 768) video capture for full screen movie viewing.
Huge 2.5 inch LCD screen.
Super fast DiG!C III Imaging Processor with ISO 1600.
Face Detect technology with Auto Focus and Auto Exposure.
This is all the info i've been given... So???

i had the ixus 800. i dropped it. :~(
it's fairly similar to the one i used to have. my brother now has the cool titanium one.
it a really cute camera with funky features such as the colour accent etc etc. it's a little gimmicky but fun nevertheless.
imo most canons are good point and shoot cameras though you probably don't need the full 10megapixels. 5-7 is probably more than enough.
if you don't take it let me have it. :P

dpreview has an informative and reasonably detailed review on the titanium 900.

Sounds too good to be true, the 850 is ~550-600 at the moment in shops. I'd be cautious about buying something at that price

$350!?!?!?
That's gotta be hot.
You'd be looking at $600+ on ebay and probably $700-800+ in stores.

I'll have to find out if it is or not. Probably is. If thats the case, i'll give it a miss
i know the camera is a little old now, but i was thinking of picking one up and found it around the $400 mark, from ebay tho...
It's still a good camera even though it's a few months old, 10.0mp is heaps for what you would really need in a P&S
