UltraWorld - What did you think ?

I was there from 12 onwards, very impressed, all 3 roomed rocked hard, was pretty packed at 2am-4am, afterwards seemed like a few had left. The bottom room - UBER FUCKEN GOOD :D
Apart from it being really really stuffy and hot, everyone was having a awesome time from what i saw.

This UltraWorld gets my 2 thumbs up :)

I agree with you there NAKED. UW 22 was awesome. Was it just me or was the upstairs room's sound system the beefiest one that's been unleased on the Adelaide indoor scene?

Well done to all the DJs/MCs - all hardcore, all quality. Also, a big well done to the crowd. Everyone had a good time with absolutely minimal stress.

Let's hope that we get a similar turnout to UW 23. And also, let's hope that we can use the old Le Rox again sometime in the future.

Now for a long and painful recovery - I still can't get to sleep. DAMN.

Agreed!! This one was a corker!
Rocked up at about 12... place was already going off. A sea of colour and glowsticks.
Upstairs was the business... mad lasers, and a chunky sound system (ear is still ringing)

Peshay played to the crowd... samba beats and then some pounding drum and bass for a couple of hours. Nice guy as well.

Downstairs I'm not sure who was playing but they caned it as well.. La La land remix went off to the very large crowd.

I'd guesstimate about 3,000 total.

Only complaint was that it was HOT... and stuffy. Inadequate ventilation for that amount of people I say. Still... made for a good night cos I met heaps of people whilst wandering around.

For the reocrd.. I was the tall guy (6'6") wearing a third eye (don't ask! lol) for most of the night. :)

Here's hoping that LeRox gets used again!! :)

re: UW this was a reminder of just how good things were in the begining & wish this place could be used monthly!
had an excelent time,shame i lost my ericson t29s & silver contraption with 1 key attached & pot & kola nut inside :)

hi my names ben and im 16 there bout :p I really am Into all this me and a couple friends have been practicing breakdancing,liquid etc for about a year and we want to go out raving but we cant ever seem to find anywhere, all the damn clubs are 18+ and all the 'kiddies' parties are rather LAME ! so could any one gimme some hints ive heard about the odd rave at the docks down port adelaide and thats close to me...so can someone gimme a lil help glad to give out my phone no. if anyone knows of any up coming raves or shite

This was the first ultraworld branded party i have been to and was totally impressed by what i found.
The laser upstairs was awsome.. I love head height ones!
Peshay rocked the house, very funked up, with some groovy interludes to the dnb. Good sets from all the regulars as well, i caught the end of john doe and totally got in the mood - pretty much stayed upstairs the rest of the night!
Downstairs also had a very good vibe going from early on (unlike that little upstairs side room - what was going on in there? just not enough dance space for critical mass to take place maybe?).
And nice little chillout area, tho some quietish ambient might have been nice to counteract the ringing in my ears from that very beefy soundsystem upstairs!
All up was very impressed. Will seriously considering attending the next ultraworld party.

I had a third eye at a rave at the vision warehouse about 8 years ago, good to see the trend is finally catching on 8-)
Did it help you to see more?

Lerox is still a cool venue, everyone has said they really liked it, so I'm sure it will be used again... well, it better be or else X(

When taking the photos for inthemix on the night, i was having too much fun that i had to send the video cam home and just put my still cam in my pocket... Every one was only just too happy to have their photo taken as there are 60 or 70 more photos that i could of used.
