Ez Guys, myself & MDA are launching a new internet radio station in the next couple of weeks and we are looking for DJ's to play. This station is a bit different to other stations even though we are based in the UK we are looking for DJ's worldwide who play anything from hip hop through to splittercore, reason being is we are trying to create a 24 hour station with no playlist so that it's constant fresh music for all the listeners. If you are interested send me a PM and a mix link and I will get back to you as soon as possible

I spend $250 on music every month and that must be nothing compared to other guys.
I spend hours trying to track down tunes.
The mix I supposed would have to be uploaded and that is my bandwidth.
Do I deserve to be paid...I don't know...but for free, yeah why not once or twice but that is about it.
The site is probably going to make some money thru sponsorship ads etc..., if he wants fresh music then somehow on a regular basis he would be interesting but for a small compensation. If the site is completely a non profit organisation another story again...
Surely there is a lot of crappy Deejays that feels it is an opportunity...sorry not me...I am not in it for the fame...
I am very egoistic about my tunes...

Spending money on your passion is hardly a reason for "compensation" if the prior exposure wasnt there in the first place IMO... ;)

I second this - I am sure there would be a few takers (myself included perhaps) if there was something to investigate here...

Ez guys sorry I have taken so long to reply I had to reformat my computer so i lost all my website addys, right the station is a non profit station at present in the future we may use some advertising but that will be purely to pay for the running of the server (that is down to MDA who is paying for it at the moment) so nope sorry not paid DJ work lol. The website is being built at the moment and should be ready at the end of this month/beginning of next as the website designer also dj's & produces so he's extremly busy but I will be posting up the site address as soon as it's ready. For those of you that are interested in playing send me a PM and a mix link, i'll take a listen & let you know when i've listened to it:thumb:
pre-recorded sets? if so I'll PM you some of my tech house.

you know, really, if you find this a burden you should give it away now.
You think that spending $250 a month on music is much? Wait until you become a gearslut...
or start buying vinyl.
fucking kids these days have no idea

"Gearslut"...I am holding my horses for now and trying to do my best with what I have, as much as I'd like to acquire other pieces of equipment, financially it's not possible. (The 3k mortgage plus the 3 kids, kind of hard...) But no I am not about to give it away yet...
And Bracko, they are some good reasons why I am not getting in Vinyl, because fuck yeah I have a very good idea, I started to buy vinyl in 1984 till 1989 when I switched to CD...
Now with Serato that might convince me to get TTsl, but no way I am going to spend $400-$600 on vinyl monthly (Unless something happen). Though surely I may buy some records but not many...

I don't know, but if I knew how to mix since 84, most probably around 91 I would have work in a night club, things would have turn up different, I would have not met my wife, and I would not have moved to Australia, thus I would not be on this board, unfortunately for you now you have to bear with me lol...
The little things you do in Life, just bring you here or there, you never know...that is why I am pretty sure thing would have been different for me If I knew how to mix back then. If I did not go out that night I would not have been with my wife, me being here just stand on one decision I took back in 94.
If you on the other hand would not know how to mix, you probably would not be there as well.
