minor scratches/scuffs

well i finally got me a digital camera and being the clumsy idiot that i am i had my camera in my pocket for a short while (the bag was not with me at the time), not thinking that the other contents in my pocket at that time would scratch the camera surface and even a blemish the lcd screen a little. now is there anyway to lessen the appearance of the scratches and i've tried cleaning the screen over and over again to no avail. anyone in similar predicaments?

no idea how to get the scratches out.. apart from buffing them heaps?

but definately invest in plastic LCD screen protector sheets.. saved my screens plenty of times!!

depends if they're superficial scratches or deep scratches. this might sound stupid, but i know it works on light scratches, use toothpaste (a very very small amount) and buff it on the screen with your finger and wipe off any excess
id you're not willing to do that, then just leave it as is
