I don't know if it's just me but do M44G's seem to collect dust while playing more than any other stylus??
I think I do a pretty good job at keeping my vinyl clean, but I'm finding I need to
clean my stylus nearly every three records. I don't remember having this issue when I was using my old stantons. I know the M44G's run quite light. I have mine set to 1.7g. Maybe this has something to do with it??

Wash a record in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly and dry, then try.
Is the stylus tip damaged?
How do you actually dial in the weight for your cartridge?
You might actually be chewing up your vinyl rather than getting a build up of dirt/dust.
most likely your room is not as clean as you think, and clubs are generally quite dusty environments.
keep a dust cloth or brush next to your decks. by the gemetory of the carts they'll pick up more dust.

No the Stylus are both Fairly new.
Basically followed to correct setup procedure of Zero the weight. Level the Tone arm and then add required weight as per manufacturer spec.
I only have them running light at 1.7g. Much lighter than most other peoples setups I have used but the M44G's are supposed to be run light according to the spec.
Its not a major drama. May need to vacum the house more :)
Ive been cleaning my vinyls as I use them now so hopefully this will illiminate the problem.
Just curious if other are having this issue?

Not with clean vinyl I haven't. I've been using M44G's for about 8yrs now.

i do, but it's only with old vinyl or records that have been left on the Turntable for extended periods of time.
if you want to be anal about vacuuming, make sure you clean the filters out before you do your room, especially the fine filter.

I have the exact same problem with the same setting. I think it's because it's too light that may be reason it collects more dust. However i use serato so i hardly ever change records which means i have to clean once every few tracks.
do you guys use your 44's with small lead weight that comes with them? you know the one- it attaches to the headshell...

Yep

vaccum cleaners actually just stir the dust up into the air
for maxium dust removal, an antistatic pick up wipe or brush must be employed. Which is impossible on carpet of course.
The only other way is to make a hermatically (did i spell that right?) sealed room where you will need to dress up in an air tight suit, walk through a chamber which removes any dust from you and then proceed to the clean room. Computer component manufacturers have these to make hard drives and microprocessers in. You could ask one of them if you could move your decks in, im sure they wouldnt mind.
