Thanks heaps for the link ayong :thumb:
Perfect timing too, as I have to take photos at a gig event my friends are running tomorrow night. (I did photos for them once before and did a very poor job of it, so this will be very helpful).

just stick to you cheapo 350 will ya :P
and whats wrong with a cheapo 350 eh anthony!? i got some decent shots with it at fresh.
i'd sell my car for a 5d if i didnt rely on it as much as i do. :stroke:
oh yea.. and Daniel Boud is fkn awesome!
There is nothing wrong with the 350d. mind you, daniel once used a 350d and the outcome of his photos are amazing. i think a key point in any concert photography is getting your lighting a little over expose, putting on your shutter speed as high as possible without losing much of your exposure. (this to prepare for anything that happends in a quick snap) :)
but yea.. i suppose when you have been doing it for a couple of years. everyone has their own style :)

Daniel Boud & Matt Booy are both amazing music photographers. Looking at their work on Flickr and all over the place has been what's helped inspire me to become a much better photographer of live music events.
Ahhh my trusty old Canon 350D, it is my first DSLR and will probably be my only one for quite a while! ;)
there's a Canberra photographer who used to do a stuff here, i can't remember his name, but he was by far the best gig photographer here :(
