Hello fellow Djs,

I search using the search button on this and not much answering.

I am contemplating flying with my gear.

I have Denons: 2 DNS3500 1 DNX300

I also have 2 UDG bags for the 3500s but unless I can bring them in the cabin (Which I cannot) I have been advised not to use them.

So I am looking out for the proper boxes, flight cases.
I am just wondering should I purchase a coffin of this type:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-Hard-Case-Co-CD-Coffin-Road-Case_W0QQitemZ280034677783QQihZ018QQcategoryZ14987 QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

I figured out that this one is better as opposed to the one with the handle in the middle of the case it is less prone to be thrown and also as access to front so I can adjust front knobs on the mixer as well.

Or should I go with individual type as this one:

With the coffin the problem I see is it will be very heavy, which in a way is good as it probably will be hard to throw, but if it falls, oops.
On the other hand the single cases are less heavy thus easier to throw, but less heavy on a fall.

Even tough all these are flight cases it seems, can you share a bit of experience as of what I should be concerned about? What I should make sure of? Or even recommend other products which may be more suitable.

I would really appreciate some good experienced output.
Thanks for all your help.

well the big one will be a big heavy fucker for gigs, carrying it out of the car, youd want wheels on the corner or something..

the little ones are more practical

but

for a flight (espec international) you may want to use the large one so you dont lose any cases!
