Hi all

Theres a techno/trance tune that is played on Channel 9 during the Soccer World Cup coverage show....it comes on when they show the 3 best goals of the week for a competetion they are running (ie ppl phone in and vote their fav goal and go in the draw for a prize).

The tune has a bit of a darude style build up. Does anyone know what the name of that track and the artist is? Any info is much appreciated.

Safri Duo - Played alive??
Dont know if this is the 1 your after but ive heard this track on the soccer world cup...

unfortunately safri duo isnt the one :(

I know safri duo - "played alive" is sometimes played during the SBS soccer coverage. but the one im after is played on channel 9's coverage.

Thanks anyway.

Anyone else have any ideas?

i havent seen the part where it shows the best 3 goals,but on the ad for the soccer they play -

umm i dont think its Sunscreem - perfect motion either

ive whipped up a quick sample of the main theme/tune using an old tracker prog and uploaded as an mp3 file....maybe this will help....

hehe yeh i admit it sounded stupid
but was a quick 1min job...its got the basic main theme/tune which mite make it easier to identify.

that song annoys me sooooooooooooooo much... hahhaa

i think you'll find its on the world cup 2002 cd, wouldnt have a clue what its called though. there is a tracklisting here:

you were right, the track was on of the Fever Pitch (2002 Fifa World Cup 2002) CD.

the track is called:
"Vangelis" - Anthem Remixed By Js16 (the Official Anthem of the 2002 World Cup)

I knew it had a darude (JS16) feel to it ;)
