Central Station selling Serato/Traktor etc

Received an email from Central Station (in Brisbane) saying that they are now selling Traktor, Serato, Traktor crossgrade and Torq

Prices are as follows...
Traktor Scratch $999.00
Traktor Scratch Crossgrade $699.00
Rane Serato - $820.00
M-Audio Torq - $699.00

If we are allowed to use our discount on these items that would make it almost as cheap as shipping it from OS. From the couple of days I spent searching the net for Serato and once included shipping it was mid $700's. Then there's the possibility of it being taxed on the way in.. that's another hundred or so I think. So for alot less hassle you can pick up these bad boys for almost the same price.

I'm waiting for an email back to verify if the discount can be used. If that's the case I'll be strolling into Brissy Central after my last exam in 2 weeks time woohoooo

if its 700 and then 100 tax thats 800 might as well spend 820 get it then and there without having to wait for it in the mail?

I think you can get Serato for less than $820 in OZ...need some negotiation tough. Plus I am thinking there might be a drop in price in the next few months.

I'm all for a good haggle D1! What makes you say there might be a price drop? Is there something else coming out soon?? There's a Serato 'Video' of sorts but I'm not sure when that will come out or if it will affect the price of the original.

I can't find the thread that explained exactly what the tax was and how much etc. Anyone know where I can find it?
