These releases are incredible, quite hard to track down due to the fact they were only released on vinyl, though if you can get your hands on them it's well worth a listen.

There was a CD release (http://www.discogs.com/release/657253), but not all the tracks from the 12"s are featured. I've got #1-4, 6, 9 & 11; though #1 is my favourite release, VBS.Redlof.B from #11 would have to be my favourite track! :D

Crying In Your Face is the best thing Aphex has ever done I reckon.

Funny timing as I'm listening to the new Venetian Snares project Last Step. Exactly the Analord style. Awesome stuff.

That is a great track!
There are some really nice moments among the bit slag on those 12"s
The early 12"s are IMHO, better.

Speaking of this, i'm planning on playing an acidic analogue break set at the upcoming 'limpet' party.
Sme Analord, The Tuss, Astrobotnia, kinds of things will feature.
its great party music and since it's 'A Lockin' i'm playing up the party.

Check the whats on.

Dude much love for Analord, Tuss and esp. Astrobotnia. I played a couple of tracks (1 each from 1 and 3) at a recent gig a few weeks back here in Adelaide.
Kinda stuff you don't hear on a big system around these parts too often.

I was anal (ord) enough to buy each release as it came out so have the complete set, not that poxy binder mind. Must admit that 10, 11 and I think it's 8 from memory have special place in my heart, however each record has its own winners.

My problem is that when I pull some out I pull them all out so the numbers get lost in my head amongst the quality analogue akshun. :rainman:
