Hey people..

Im in the middle of planning my overseas trip at the moment. Im leaving in the last week of august and will be in and around europe until the start of november or thereabouts before heading off to the US.

Ive always wanted to go to Ibiza and see what all the fuss is about. Ive been listening to radio 1 essential mixes and broadcasts from ibiza since forever ago and the place and the music sounds unreal.

So when would be a good time for me to go?

Obviously i want to see some of the big internationals. Im thinking closing week might be a good time to go? When exactly is closing week?

Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers :thumb:

personally, i find that the last week of August/first week of september is the best time. It's not quite as crowded as early August, and the accommodation is a little cheaper too.

The closing party's are fun, but i don't think you get the full Ibiza vibe and atmosphere because a lot of people have left the island by then and it's much quieter. The closing parties go from the 14th september to the end of september.

Big internationals are on every night, not just opening and closing parties, so i wouldn't worry about that.

I think Ibiza is best experienced when it's in full flight and the streets have an eerie quietness about them after around the 13th September.

I would say the closing parties are the best time to go - it's the biggest blow out of the summer!
