In The Mix is gonna interview WET Musik this week and invites you, the punters, to submit questions.
This is your chance to quiz Will and Simon about their DJing, music, label, parties, new DJ course, plans for world domination, etc.
We will also be getting various local techno celebrities to ask questions, so it should be a fun read.
Instead of posting them in the forum, please e-mail them direct to keikoamerica@hotmail.com or cyclone@inthemix.com.au before the end of Tuesday.
Cheers!

What would your biggest tips be for promoters who want to put on techno nights? (Particularly in not so techno friendly places such as Sydney?!)

Who?
Si (Coyle) you out there some where????????????????????????????
Who?
If your refering to my post, Storey hall is where Wet Musik used to hold some of their parties. It is where they recorded volumes 1,2 and 4 of their live albums. Awesome venue that holds great memories of my earlier clubbing days.

have a bunch of their cds! awesome stuff =)
same. the 5th one with simon coyle is the best!
i've got some old vids of them found on you tube have to find the links
at last i heard:
Will e Tell; just had a baby and was some big shot real este person?
Simon Digby: running/ownes/ has something to do with alaumbra?
Simon Coyle: left running the show after the last two retired?
Alpharisc: now producing Dub step after a stint in Trance?
Storey hall: I actuall inquired about booking this while my partner was studying was told only
allowed specific time frame up to about 10pm and they wernt to fond of having any more dance parties there, was told that one of the boucers at one of the Wet music got stabbed by some crazy from china town as he was refused entry?
all this info subject to speculation please fell free to correct and fill the void of theses once mighty techno warriors
When I think of techno, WET Musik stuff is what my mind starts playing...
Not today's "techno", which seems to be in severe need of a decent kick drum :ninja:

^^ yeah I heard he sold his record collection to midro lol
He was suppose to make an appearance at Belfast the other year but couldn't make it for some reason.
Would love to see him in action again, even if it was just a once off bangin out the classics that got me into techno in the first place. Alpharisc too.

Will gave me a pile last time he played over hear he sold alot but kept the ones he loved.
I would definately be keen to watch him slam out a classic Freight Train Will E Tell set.
Fierce Melbourne techno at its best.
