Yep. Wondering if this is an expensive thing to fix. We plugged the aux input cords in too tight to the mixer so when we pulled them out, it took the metal surrounding bits with it (the metal part surrounding the coloured parts that you can see in the pic below)

anyone know if i can get replacement metal bits or how much it would cost to fix? its a numark mixer.

this image is not of the mixer, but the part that is broken on the back. just a reference.

RCA sockets are usually mounted in a 'group' probably just a matter of opening it up, desoldering the damaged block of rcas, installing a new one, close it up and go nuts.

I'm sorry. I was distracted by the beautiful pic of the RCA connectors.

I've seen this problem on way too many vestax is all.

Ps. What's the prize?

I got the same problem with my DXM-09!

Went to dick smith, but the metal strip they had doesn't fit in properly.

Definately gotta open it up and fuck around with it when i get a chance.

Ps. DS only had the gold strips and not the silver ones that come with the numark

You can get a technician to replace the RCA block for around 40 - 50 bucks.
