Hey,

I found a Vestax mixer at DMC for a really good price.
Everyone says Vestax are great (and from what I've used i see why).

They have the base model PMC-03 for $399 - which seems like a great price for a Vestax.

Does anyone have any gripes with this model? Or does it sound good?

At the end of the day you get what you pay for, specially with mixers. A 400 dollar mixer gona sound like a 400 dollar mixer. And unfortunately not last as long if you start cranking the EQ's. However they're great if your just treading the water.

I really want a A&H...what quality!

depends what you want to do with it. If you're a scratch DJ, nutty techno DJ or big EQ tweaker, I'd get one that's going to handle a punishing, and unfortunately, you're really looking at around the $700 mark - minimum.

Vestax do make good mixers, but their sub $700 mixers will wear out pretty quickly (perhaps with the exception of the pioneer djm-300 - they're pretty tough)
