i think borders gets it.

I asked. They said they didn't.

But, on this information - I will track it down, again. Its shitloads cheaper to order direct from their website anyways, I just haven't even gotten round to it :(

Subject: Arthur Russell Documentary Update
Body: We wanted to send you a quick update on the Arthur Russell Documentary…After two years of research and production in New York and Oskaloosa, Iowa—35 hours of footage and hundreds of archival materials—we’re well along the way with post-production! The film will be completed in early 2008, and we’ll be announcing screenings and release dates in the New Year. In the meantime, our website (www.arthurrussellmovie.com) has been updated with stills from the film, and you can now make tax-deductible contributions toward finishing funds online… more on that and other news below:

4 SONGS BY ARTHUR RUSSELLJens Lekman, Joel Gibb (Hidden Cameras), Verity Susman (Electrelane), and Victoria Bergsman (Taken by Trees and The Concretes) are releasing 4 SONGS BY ARTHUR RUSSELL, an EP of Arthur covers, with Rough Trade Records. We had the chance to film with Jens, Joel, and Verity. And on August 20th they’ll all be performing together for the first time at Kulturehuset in Stockholm (www.kulturhuset.stockholm.se). We’re also excited to be screening a sneak preview of a scene from the film. If you’re in Sweden, it’ll be an amazing night not to be missed.

FINISHING FUNDSIn order to finish the Arthur Russell Documentary, we need to raise a significant amount of money to license the incredible archival materials and music we’ve found, and to mix the sound, color correct, and output the film. We’re reaching out to individuals like you who support independent filmmaking and believe in bringing Arthur Russell’s music and story to a larger audience. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to our finishing fund or passing along this request to generous friends. No contribution is too small. If each of our MySpace friends gave just $10 we’d be well on our way to reaching our fundraising goal.To learn more about where your money will go or to make a contribution online, visit our website: www.arthurrussellmovie.com. The Arthur Russell Documentary is a fiscally sponsored project of the Center for Independent Documentary, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Thank you for your support and interestYour friends at The Arthur Russell Documentary

its worth it if you are subscribed that you don't have a dickhead postie that crunches your copy in half wrecking the mag everytime he reaches your letterbox
