hey guys, just wondering in you guys could give me a hand with picking the setup I get.
Option 1
2 x Stanton C314, Pioneer DJM400 Mixer
Option 2
2X Denon DNS3500s, Numark 3050 mixer
Pros and Cons for both would be awesome if anyone has this sort of set up.
Also any other options would be appreciated.
Im looking at spending around $2200 or so (Option 2 is more, but can get them second hand for around this price)
Thanks in advance

2 x cdj-800's for 2K, save another 300 and leaves you 500 for a mixer, done

I'm gonna see if I can get 2xCDJ800's and a DJM400 for $2500-2600 from JB. :)
I'll let you know how it goes when I actually have $2500 hahahaha

I have the 3500s, so definitely that over the 314, because I have read about people's quality issues with the 314 and some unit failing after just a few months...
In my opinion 800 comes just after 3500.
Top CD players in my opinion:
CDJ 1000 Mk3
DNS 3500
CDJ 800 MK2
DNS1000
CDJ 200
ICDX
3500s have a lot of incorporated effects, 1 sampler, 2 loops, for me you can enkoy some creativity and do some stuff.

Yeah, even the CDJ200's would do the trick

denons are built nice and solid, the dns1000 also has some of the effects as the 3500, loops, flange, echo, filter, start/stop brake, reverse.....i just wouldnt claim they "scratch" all that well though...

^^Originally I was going to buy the DNS1000 then just before I was going to make the purchase I stumbled accross a good deal on second hand 3500 so went ahead. For sure the Denon are nice and solid...at the end in this respect it all comes down to either Denon or Pio as far cd players go, though I like Numark for their constant innovation as well.

2 x cdj800s and a 5000fx and you'll be covered for a while
i guess you could get one cdj200 and one cdj800 and a mixer too to avoid saving a bit more
