Who's seen the new "Tough on Drugs" and "drugs destroy lives" ads on TV? They're pretty funny but they have played them that bloody many times while the Oscars have been on... oh yeah, and go big Russ, fu#k Tom Hanks!

I have indeedely doodely seen them, many times too....and am sick of em already. My fav commercial at the moment would be the M&M's one where the little crispy M&M dude is at that roadside cafe, and he's ranting on about his problems......hehehe, it's sooooo funny & cute too.
[from the ad] did you know 'every home in australia will shortly receive this booklet [entitled "our strongest defence against the drug problem", on how parents can prevent their children taking drugs]' ?
i'll be waiting at my letterbox for my copy !

What you meen we will be geting another booklet. Didn't we get a booklet in the mail about dope 3 or 4 years back what good that did.

Now come on guys ("guys" used in the generic male and female format ;) ) i think its all time we sat down with our families and had a talk about drugs and how can they effect us. (I am jacks evil grin >:) )
off the subject (slightly) at two tribes 2k+1 was it just me (;)) or did the score bored have MDMA written on it in the outside court/arena?
Yeah Iain, the Hardware court had like MDMA and something else on one sides scoreboard, and the other side had XTC XTC!
HAHAHA i got my flyer in the mail... LOL good old howard the gimp inside the front cover... that's enought to deter anyone from consuming drug's don't you think? Hmmmm

That booklet went straight from my mailbox to my bin, by means of a crafty looking but rather hopeless paper plane. Considering the info. is exactly the same as in the one that went out like 2 years ago, my folks agreed with me that the actual reading and intake of info from that booklet would merely overlap stored info. (if that makes sense, ill be happy. seem to confuse me though) :)
That pamphlet was crap- and i found half of it to be just media jargon. Reasons kids give for trying drugz? did anyone actually read the responses in that section? Geez. Although I have to admit those TV ads are somewhat spine chilling, they seem 100 times more effective than the pamphlet full of so called information.
Right on PiNKe that pamphlet is full of crap. Tell me how something like that is going to stop kids from takeing drugs come on it might be colurfull and have some nice pictures in it but that's about it. People at work trying to say that it's got a lot of good info in it what would they know anyway. Come on Mr. Howard you can do better than that.
There was an add for the womans day ( i think it was that ?), decribing an article on "how to keep your kids away from drugs" as the cheesy presenter read out the tabloids crap contents they had a picture of a rave in the background, GREAT more negative publicity, Im just waiting for mike (i am the slime of the world) munroe to jump on and do a condeming article about the rave scene. Yes undeniably there are drugs in the dance scene , BUT there are no ambulances , violence, deaths , shootings or any thing like that at raves so the police genrally turn a blind eye to what goes on becase nothing "bad" is really happeing, but with this negative tabliod crap out there, the police may be forced to take a more "enforcefull" role on the on the dance scene. , The dance scene is genrally very responsible , testing stations where even set up at earthcore to test pills for any harmfull substances. The dance scene is not a drug problem !!! it is not the cause of deaths , theft , addiction. or any thing that "street drugs" are so why are being fucking targeted!!!!! we take care of ourselves AND each other!!!! We should be an example for the rest of society not condemed.
