Hey guys.. there doesn't seem to be much around anywhere about this mixer so i have come to ask if anyone has it and what do they think of it?

Also it says that the effects are assignable to Cross-fader A and Cross-Fader B or Master.
Now I use the channel faders and turn the Cross-fader off on the mixer i have at the moment... does this mean that on the VMC004FX I would have to have the cross-fader on whilst using the channel faders? If that makes sense..

Cheers Bumpy:crazy:

i've got one

you can select master on all of the four channels which renders the crossfader useless, same goes with the effects. It means you'll get the effect over all the channels, if you want the effect on one side only you have to use the crossfader.

ahh ok thanks for that pomrocks.. thats what I thought might be but wasn't to sure.

Anyway what do you think of it as a mixer? worthwhile?

i was looking at this the other day as someone was asking about it - the features seem quite cool - full cut eqs, effects, assignable crossfader

whats it like to use though

the effects are pretty much a joke, but everything else is awesome

faders are great

two master volumes

fulleq's, knobs are small and not good for sweaty hands

and price, i paid around $800, but ive send them for $650 now.....very very good value in my humble opinion

How come the effects are a joke?
I know effects aren't a big deal and i don't use them much at all but i do like echo and filter

i just dont really like them, then tend to cut in too easy ie not that smooth. id much rather an external unit, kaoss pad or efx1000....

but if its just for bedroom/house parties more that okay i guess

Hmm fair enough... do they cut in to easy if you have the wet/dry knob on dry and hit the effects on button then twist the wet/dry to wet? or does it still cut in quickly

yeah still a bit of a noticable drop in volume

ive got one, faders aren't that good imo, eq's are very stiff, effects are ok... its well suited to its price range. i would have liked to have save the extra 300 and buy the denon dnx1500
