Was in lifeline and bought the Boney M LP for a dollar. 'Nightflight To Venus ' is percussive galactic hotness.

Also picked up some Quicy Jones produced Georige Benson. another dollar.

I'm pretty happy with myself. Good to find something amongst all the Rod Stewart and Liberace

Boney M were one of the earliest manufactured bands before even Stock, Aitken and Waterman came along. Frank Farian, who also wrote Milli Vanilli songs which were also mimed, also wrote all the Boney M music and actually sang Booby Farell's parts. I remember in 1979 they were kinda like the disco version of Abba.

Pretty cruddy stuff IMO.

I reckon he modelled himself on Stewart.

My old man used to play against Rod Stewart in football in England. Said he was a good player. My nan once told Rod Stewart off for swearing on the football pitch. Good on ya nan!!!!
