Smash Court Tennis Controls

I am reviewing smash court tennis for ITM and I can't seem to be able to do a drop shot... It says the triangle is the drop and lob but I can only do lobs and it's beginning to annoy me..
Does anyone know how to do a drop shot in Smash court tennis pro tournament for the PS2 ??
