what's crackin' all
got a mashup that i aquired off the net ( Bart Clasesson vs. Motorcycle - As Playmo Comes (shane54 mashup) )
the tempo changes constantly ... be beatmaching new track and it'll jump from 134 to 138 to 136 etc makin' it impossible to beatmatch properly ...
dunno why it does it, anyone want to explain it to me? and how to fix it ?
Cheers

Did you "acquire" this song from a reliable site?
If you've got Ableton just whack it in there and warp it in time. Don't ask me how, just look for some tutorials on the net for warping in Ableton.

try mixing old school disco and then come back and complain
Echo it out then hit play on the next song :P

They never seemed to have long mixes, not like we do now days. Just mix a couple of beats or fade out fade in or wait for the track to finish and drop the next. My observations anyway.

yeh but alot of the old disco mixes i have listened to have been timed and exectued perfectly, im starting to think maybe they've been done with computer coz the transitions are so smooth, i dont now how they can do such perfect cuts, to me thats harder then getting a 4/4 trACK beatmatched and holding a 2 minute mix, anyone can do that really

i just realised that that is a computer edited mix

nope not a reliable site at all, cause i don't' remember where i got it from
the quality is actually very good, not perfect but very good... i'll whip it in abbleton and see what happens cheers for that
fuck riding the pitch, see i like my mixes to sound GOOD , not like a piece of shit that's being corrected every 5 seconds ... cause it will be 134 ... corrected .. .oh would you look at that 137 ... corrected ... or would you look at that 132 ... *pause for trainwreck*
and i die a little inside
see my point ?
