View Full Version : Midi Control - The terrifying BDC3000
Well I've gone and done it, I purchased the BCD3000 and am experiencing all the problems the Behringer are renound for:thumb:
When I did the initial install I encountered the dreaded freeze problem...in a bid to rectify the problem I set about trying different configurations suggested by fellow BCD3000 users...I did not however get anywhere, instead I lost all control of Traktor with the BCD. I tried a fresh driver install and fresh Traktor software but I still cant get any control of Traktor with the midi device...WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?
Any help much much much appreciated...I really don't want to do a fresh install of windows!??
Argh so much pain from a device with so much potential....what's 3 more months development in the long run Behringer?
what sort of freezing? just it stop and need a restart or does it freeze for 5 seconds or so then start again? if its the latter then I solved that problem by turning off my wireless card if it the former I can't help unless you provide some more details.

More information would be good. What rough specs has your computer got? When you go into the Midi Controller setup in Traktor is the BCD3000 listed with a X on the left? If not double click it and Traktor will interface with it. Are you running LE or Full Edition?

I did a 79 minute mix with my BCD2000 yesterday, haven't used it ages but once again it didn't skip a beat. I swear I got the only perfectly working 2000 in the worlds.

haha mine was shit when i got it due to driver issues...but apart from that many moons ago it runs super smooth...even got to play out on it at an event with a few hundred people for an hour and a half and it didn't skip a beat at all :)

My BCD2000 runs fine too on both my XP machines as both a soundcard and midi controller. BDJ on the other hand is fuckin atrocious.

BDJ is the worst piece of shit software.
Traktor and the BCD2000 = fun

deckadance and BCD2000 = fun too, and no need for that midi translator garbage (unless newer versions of traktor now have native BCD support)

Traktor 3 LE has always had native support afaik? I'm beginning to love my BCD3000 + Traktor more and more the more I use it and the better I get at mixing.

Try updating your drivers from www.behringer.com (http://www.behringer.com) and then if all else fails, uninstall the application you're using, uninstall the drivers and start from scratch, this time, don't connect the controller until you are prompted too. I say this, as this has been the most common problem I've seen with the 2000 and the 3000, do not connect the device until all drivers and apps have been installed etc...

Not the only one mate, i've been blessed with a great functioning BCD2000 also. Though the BDJ software is shitttte.
I've also been trying xylio's Future Decks with no luck.
Traktor seems to be my number one software pick for the BCD's!

Yeah I've tried a few different brands of software and always went back to Traktor.
