What can you all tell me about the club "Revolver?"

I am from Sydney town, so have no idea... Any info regarding DJs particularly good.

Revolver has a lots of different styles going down .....like this Saturday arve i dropped in for a beer and pool with friends and got treated to some divine reggae sounds.

The front room features different acts....live bands/electronica/djs...while the backroom is usually beats. Ransom is one of their best Djs doing the Late Show. I liked Jnett's set when i last heard her. Also good are Angela Maison and Ant Steep who do Curve, deep house tunes.

In my opinion Revolver rocks, not a lot of pretence, anything goes, have fun! Gets really packed in the morning tho' after 5am. Can be hard to get in sometimes..

Will, Polecat's so right. Revolver is fabulous, and so is Ransom.

I've taken a few Sydney people there and they've all said that there's nothing like it in Syd. Probably the best feature about the place is the huge back room filled with comfy couches and lots of lamps and chandeliers. It's open for lunch and dinner as well with Pati Thai operating a kitchen at the back of the back room with very cheap very yummy Thair food, I don't think anything on the menu is more than $12. Get there early whatever night you're heading in for dinner on the couches and a bottle of wine. And DO try the sweat potato chips, there's sooooooo good!

The walls are adorned either by big shag pile rugs (which I've always hated) or by interesting art installations.

Tuesdays tend to be my favourite night there for dinner and drink and lush cruisy music without the huge crowd.

Definitely visit this place if you're coming down to Melb, & btw it's open 24 hours all weekend.

this week the art is fabulous at Revolver! Lots of great drawings and paintings that are kind of reminiscent of tatto art. We liked it, and i was wondering how much the cool picture of the Tank near the pool tables was? Would have looked good in my house :)

Since I caught Mix Master Mike ripping an awesome set when the Boys were there a couple of years ago I try and get there whenever in town. My first Melb clubbing experience so I guess its a tad sentimental. Intimate and a *great* vibe. The sound was AAA also but with MMM on the wheels... well, you know.

In truth I've only been in Melb twice since and on both occasions I recall depp breakin beats but no idea who was behind the dex.

Oh, and way comfy couchs, like.
