Hi,

I recently bought Torq Connectiv and it was working fine, but now it is skipping a lot. I've read somewhere about creating a drive partition for the program - anyone got any advice on how to solve the problem?? I'm running a WinPC with Vista32bit.

Cheers,
Ben.

skipping? do you have a crap computer? Works fine for me. only time it skips is if i haven't got my decks set up properly which is all sorted now.

Need more info dude.

Have you disabled all unnecessary programs on the pc?

How are you using it? Internally, externally? CD or Vinyl?

Also try disabling master tempo/key lock if you have it on.

Edit: also try www.torq-dj.com you might have better luck there.

turn off everything you don't need including wireless and antivirus.

it's probably a good idea to rebuild the thing from sctatch

Windows Vista 32-bit Home Premium
Intel Duo Core 2.4ghz
2GB RAM
8800GTS 320MB
320GB HDD

Yes, all unnecessary programs are off. Using external vinyl controls.

Would it help to partition the drive and do a fresh install of the software on that? Or possibly a 2nd physical HDD? Would you put the music on this partition/drive with the Torq software install?

Cheers,
Ben.

fdisk or STFU.
