Stanton c313 and the mixer is a stanton m202. i can get both for around $700 . hardly used.

is it good for beginners???? or is it too expensive?

any feedback is appericiated.

You might get lucky and they will work just fine for a short while, but to be honest some people from this forum have come accross some issues...personally I would stay away from Stanton as far as CD players goes...

Yeah I have the 314's. And I am about to send the same player back for the 4th time with a different problem....I am now at the point with it that I am going to demand a new one...4 seperate issues with the one player, and the other one was replaced as it was loosing power....

save your cash, buy something better.

A guy at school had some 313's or 314's not to sure and he had them for a week and now one of them wont turn on.

are you getting 2 cd players??
unless your getting TWO cd decks and a mixer then NO this is not cheap, u can buy that mixer and that cd for new at that price????

my friends had awsome luck with the c314s had em for like a year and havent screwed up used em at clubs and everything.

cheap and okay for the money, I'd try and knock some more off the price though

FYI pioneer beginner setup would be $1500 roughly. if you have the money to spend, go nuts, if not, get something to start playing now.

Well it was for 2 cd players + a mixer. but i decided not to go ahead with it and just save money to get somethign decent later on.

Well it's a smart decision considering what has been said...2 Pio CDJ200 one Numark DXM06, and you will be having lots of fun for a while. Then when you want to upgrade the above models are sold easily.
