try running Ad-Aware... search and download from download.com or tucows.com

if that doesnt work, time for a format...

 bwahahahahahhahahahahahaahah that'll teach you.....

and let me start by saying there is NO crack for reason you need 2 cd's as one is the install cd and the other is a soundbank /protection key reason needs the 2nd cd to operate

sorry jay jay but thats some funny ass **** you might have to go and buy it now...

and yeah if ad aware doesn't clean it up it's re format re install for you my friend

im sorry but i too have to say:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

reason crack?
you mean maybe a keygen for the update or something?

anyway, have you deleted all the cookies from the cookies folder?

look for new .exe files as well, and of course check whats in your startup folder or just Ctrl+Alt+Dlt to see what is running

anything new maybe be a nasty

cuold be any of this or none... serves you right for not knowing what u are doing... proceed with a little more caution next time

ps, a virus check wouldnt hurt either

good luck!

you don't need the soundbank cd in there if you have installed the soundbank onto your computer. if you didn't install it then yeah you do.

Funny though that the original post was from 2001 - I found myself at the beginning ;-) The moral remains the same though.

sounds like one of those zombie viruses it dosent matter how any times you delete those files, they're not going to go away so dont waste your time with trying to yet. Im shure if you do some google searching you'll find an uber nerd forum or two with info on how to kill it off exactly. I've had one before and had to do some manual stuff to get rid of it, like deleting files and directories in the windows directory and i might have had to turn off some services too i cant remember exactly.

anyway im just saying that you shuld be able to get away without doing a complete format if you dont want to
