surprised at the option of paying double the ticket price to sit in a fuckin vip area? with bag raiders as support?
beard rating = -3
(yay that good music is getting out there btw, just personal gripe)

last time I checked, it's the promoter's first ever show. a labour of love, in fact, he's been working on it for about 2 years now. I would assume that it's the way it is to ensure that it reaches the broadest range of people.
and the reason the piano room costs so much is because you get a 7" record, exclusive to the night. they had to pay for the production of a limited run, etc.
plus... modular aren't involved on this one.

Paying to be in a VIP area seems even more wack than the existence of a VIP area.
Aren't these bagraider people modular? If you follow their links they seem to be.

Gus, who is 1/3 or Bagraiders, is signed to Modular through the Bang Gang. I don't know why that's such an issue, though.
And yeah, the whole VIP thing's pretty wierd, but like... I see what the promoter's trying to do.
Eagleman, AFAIK, the 7" is 2 songs, both exclusive to the tour, and never to be distributed again.

i have the original "Beggin" its still good....the remix thingy is a massive tune
its all about the drums in the original thats what pilooski liked the most and used for the main build up of his remix....the vox are also good, very uplifting
i dont think theres many other tunes of frankie valli and the 4 seasons that are dancefloor friendly though?
maybe im wrong though...
i think all the members of FV & the 4 seasons were castrated at a young age

It's a neologism. :) Why not demand it at your local record store though and keep them on their toes? Sniff when they say they haven't heard it and storm out muttering something about getting it on the internet instead.
But as far as the nonsense go I was more proud of 'nouveau jacques' cuz it seems funnier.

Yes, the "Heaven Above Me" LP for the "Soul / Heaven Above Me" medley, it's great.
Some of his others are ok too, but you really have to be in the mood.
ps Modular are "Cosmic" now???? http://www.discogs.com/release/1239333

Apparently, Steve Pav (of Modular) has gone bankrupt 2-3 times to get out of paying people.
Not good IMO.

OK I'm sorry for making fun of the French. I thought he was really Polish and wouldn't mind.
Speaking of the secret Better Days party, how'd it go Brevil? Fun?

Cedric's (Pilooski) wife has been involved in an accident - she's in a coma. Our thoughts are with Cedric at this time, and hopefully they will be coming to Australia sooner rather than later.
