i have noticed that on in the mix there are lots of post whores (people who post to get their post count up)
Adealiade is one of the few (probably the best) cities that has a little ammount of post whores!
If you go on the general threads there are people with 2000+ posts, ok if the've been a member for a year or more but there are some that have been on ITM for 4-5 months, and while reading throught the treads you can see how they get so many posts! some just post smiley faces???
it really annoys me, i would like to see ITM keep no record of posts and see how many people actually are on-line then.
we would only have people posting about real topics not just posting to get there post count up!
And people making up threads to say that the've reached 100 etc.. come on!!!
i dont want to start a war, it's just my opinion.

One of the reasons people in the Adelaide section of ITM have less posts than other sections is because there are less threads to post in, in the Adelaide forum.

I know what you mean Psycho. On the forum that i usually post on daily (yes I admit i have a problem), probably has 20% talk of music/ "the scene"/ DJ's and good sets. The rest is either promotion for up and coming events or just plain crap. EG: a thread called "Beards"...going along the lines of "do you like facial hair?"...I mean WTF???
I think there is a time and place..on its not on ITM....BUT you do get to know the ppl on the forums, and they can be quite humourous at times.

I guess my point is..i totally agree with you, BUT i don't think the forums would be as fun without all the waffling and comdey.

If itm let you from the start choose whatever avatar you pleased, then there'd be no one ( ok nearly no-one) posting crap messages just so they could reach their quota...
