I am looking to buy either Sennheiser HD-25, or Technics RP-DJ1200A, or Sony MDRV700DJ headphones. I am really interested in the technics headphones.

Does anyone know a good store in the Sydney area where these can be found?

I ask cause i dont want to be travelling all over looking for them.

Thanx.

Len wallis audio i got a pair of sennheiser HD 500's for umm ithink it was $220 it was damn cheap though. Trick is talk em down and when you think they cant go any lower, make them go lower. Mine were $320 to start with and they were making a big deal about giving me $20 off

I will never buy anything from Len Wallis. i do not believe in rip-off hi-fi...

Try Turramurra music, they always give me good discounts.

JB hi-fi can be cheap for sennhisers plus they usually haggle and match others prices.

Go do a few listening sessions (even at Len Wallis), this might require a bit of schlepping around... but then, when you decide which ones you want, get on the phone to places like JBhifi & get the best price.
cheers

Give serious attention to the Pionner cans... now that they have reduced them to around $200 they represent better vaule than the techs, sonys or sennheisers.

I havethe techs and love em, but the pionners are usually mentioned with the other three and are good djing cans.

i hunted down the cheapest technics cans about 2months ago. lightsounds had em the cheapest by far.

the 1200s are cheaper than the 1210's and i got the 1210's there for $290. Sound very nice and are very comfy.

lightsounds are at leichardt(parra rd), oxford street and parramatta. most stores stock the technics 1210's for between 360 and 400. one stopre even had em for 450. so i was happy with 290. i guess the 1200's would be around 240/250?

give em a call before you go in though so as not to waste time.
