nice article...
"Music is a wonderful vehicle for self-expression," says BT. "The more people who feel like they're musicians, the better of a planet we're living on."
that's a pretty cool sentiment.
does all this mean tho' that the music consuming public is going to get trained to accept crap as decent... or are peoples tastes going to get more discerning???
wait a minute... people already accept crap as decent... i forget about kylie sometimes 8-)

With "writing your own tunes" so popular and accessible now, and in the future, it's up to the labels and big wigs to sort through the sea of "talent" and pick the winners - often with some unfortunate results...
But I guess the same thing happens with every second joe being a DJ...
and ska punk
and the seattle rock era
and roots punk...
:P

Yeah.......the technology is better, BUT, you still have to walk down a long hard road before anything you produce can be called "good music".
After all music is a reflection of the soul and nothing reflects from a dirty mirror.............?????
