What Speakers should I get?

Ambiguous title just to see how many peeps jump in here and tell me to use the search before reading the post... :3

I dont have any booth speakers, which is making mixing a bit annoying at times, so I'm thinking of getting some new speakers. I'm just not sure how big I want em. Iv got KRK Rokit 8's atm, which are facing out and up into the living room, which gives a nice full sound, so I was thinking some smaller 4"s behind the decks might do nicely, cos I'l probably need to get/make stands for em. Anyone got any opinions as to size for home booth monitors?

Why wouldnt you want to these days?
I use 2x 15" active 400w, and a 12" customized sub 300w that needs a new amp added.
My new german tech albums deserves it.

put the Rokit's behind you and get some home hi fi/home stereo to push the sound to the lounge ... sorted

feeding studio monitors out into the lounge in front of you seems pretty pointless to me

Very fussy, and I did have a bit of cash for this (~$1k)

But this is kinda pushed to the side for the moment; I might have to quit my job tmorrow (or have to provide fingerprints for the company database... weighing up my options :S)

these are for monitoring (as they are monitors) ie what the dj should monitor with.
then get some big ass loud hi fi speakers for the crowd. (or the few people that choose to sit in your lounge room while u mix)

incorrect, they are actually for studio monitoring....not djing.
