joint stereo?

I recently downloaded TagScanner to update all my mp3s tags. I discovered that most of my tracks are in joint stereo and only a handful are in true stereo.

I use nero and burn at 320, 441100 or what ever it is and stereo.

I did a quick google of joint stereo and from what I gathered, it is used to save space. Apparently a 320 true stero file would be massive.

Should I change the way burn tracks to mp3 or continue on my merry way?

joint stereo checks for the left and the right channel if its the same it will combine it, if there is a difference it will arrange real stereo... so you go well with joint stereo...means, that there is no difference in the sound when using joint stereo
