What do you people use to catalogue your mp3 cdr collections?

Whereisit Seems the big one, but there are no working cracks for it. Have used eclipse and a few others for 3.24, and various other versions, but whereisit closes this cracks down via inet connections.

I've surfed for a while today, exploring some new tools.. orange, and easy2000's cdr catalogue... they seem pretty crappy to me in comparison..

Any one backing up there mp3's and using such programs.. if so could you drop me a line of direction.. would be great.

alternatively. if you know what i'm talking about when whereisit close's down on you, and ask's for a password, how do you fix that?

while we on ITM don't care what you do outside of ITM in relation to cracks/pirating, ITM's forums are not the place to be discussing such activity... after all, it is illegal...

8-)

keep it off the forums fellas, thanks...

It's in ITM's policy.

and here is (http://www.inthemix.com.au/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22817) a recent post also referring to warez - it was pounced on as you can see.

but for reference, here you go - ITM's community guidelines...

Stay within the law

ITM does not allow any illegal activities. You cannot use the Community Services to publish, post, distribute, or disseminate defamatory, infringing, obscene, or other unlawful material or information.
Do not upload files or post messages that contain photos, software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, rights of privacy or publicity or any other applicable law unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents. ITM is not responsible for any use of anything you say or post.
Do not post any materials (including software and other information) that could harm (or is designed to harm) other users' computers or would allow others to inappropriately access software or Web sites.

warez ARE rife on the internet

but so what, thats not a valid argument for this forum

think of this board as a bastion against the warez kiddies who ask stupid questions like "how doez me getz reason 2?"

etc etc

anyway, back to your question

as for cataloguing your mp3 collection?

well i simply use an Excel spreadsheet

one column says the artist, one says the material/album by the artist

preceeding each albums listing is the album number

simply hitting CTRL + F brings up the find option in excel (same as in most M$ programs including IE)

too easy

oh and each slimline case of the cd has just a number on its spine

like i said, too easy

fantastic, thanks mate.

yeah, just reserved the excel option, till i had expired everything else. So i backdated and found a version that works.

read the other forum and yeh, fair enuf... jossle some warez discussions on other boards.

and 'Thank YOU.... come again :).. (btw, thats a very smartass conclusion ;)./

warez is for wankers
warez is for wankers

its for kiddies who want to be able to say to their small minded mates "HEY MAN....LOOK....I GOT 5137 PROGRAMS FOR EVERY TYPE OF MUSIC PROGRAM YOU CAN THINK OF", AREN'T I COOL....DON'T YOU WANT TO BE JUST LIKE ME....?

I knew this guy like that once....and ....when I asked him if he could use any of them OR what has he produced......a blank expression was all I got.

If your heart is in the right place you will support the programmers who support you and go to all the hard work of producing the madest software ever imagined for you to play with.:?
