Whatever it creates Id assume its still gonna be an expensive upgrade for current users of Serato...

Why, cos if you intend to abuse the multi channel (more than 2) power of Ableton its gonna require throwing away the serato audio interface... and buying another one (most likely in similar order of the Audio 8 anyway)

Serato purists... prepare to get your credit cards out and open the bin for your old hardware! :haha:

Err no.

Ableton seems to be working find on ther 2CH soundcard im using at the moment. Why would you need more outputs? isn't the mixing done internally in Ableton pre the outout?

My guess is it will be a new interface/software entirely, but time will tell

Iwouldn't worry doubt they'll make anything that quick and will probably make it backwards compatible with the sl1, maybe they'll have serato scratch pro (here's hoping they don't do that)
