Sample: Crowd noises

man... just tape some sport... tennis or something (even bowls... I'm serious) with your VCR & sample the appropriate bits & piece 'em together.

U2 concerts are my favorite souce of crowd noise. Nothing like BONO to whip people up.

i've never put crowd noise in a song before. ohhs and ahhs don't count , but why put in a crowd roar?
Do we just seek the adulation of masses :p ?

Any Live album is a good source for this. For example: Kiss Alive!
Plenty of room to sample without music.

the US release of the KLF's White Room album is actually slightly different from the UK release because of copyright issues with some of the crowd noises they used

I have got loads of samples like this, I 'got my hands on' a sony sound effects pack and Ive got a whole cd of background noise, plenty of cheering kind of ones.... also train stations, baseball games, cricket games, basketball, you name it, its the bomb,

If I remember when I get home, ill send one to ya :)
