Hey guys,
I wrote the GTA III review for PC which went up today. Since completing the review I have installed Windows XP. It is a great, stable, fast, and refined operating system, I'd reccomend it to anyone with the right system requirments. However, I can't get GTA III to work under Windows XP... NOOOOO!!!! :-/
Initially it wouldn't work because all of the menu bars and in-game text were obscured by long fat yellow lines. I installed a mini winxp update which was recommended in the GTA III readme, now the game crashes in the process of loading up the game...
It's maybe not a sutable topic for the ITM forums, but are there any tech-heads out there in the forums who can help me rectify this problem, that could give me advice on how to get the game running again on this otherwise flawless operating system, Windows XP?
You can see how much I love the game from all of the praise that I lavished on it in my review, I'm suffering from GTA III withdrawal!! SOMEBODY PLEAZE HELP ME!! :)
