Yeah Age Of Empires rocks! Got to love those Eagle Warriors and Cavalry Archers ;) Very nice game, although I can hardly find the time to play it anymore :|

I'm up to level 25 now and finally laying down some smack. The game has a lot of depth. You can be a full on warrior, a wizard, a thief, an alchemist, an assasin, a spy. You have plenty of races, classes, armour, weapons, spells to choose from.

It took me about a week to fully understand how to enchant weapons and how to use alchemy to make potions. :) From what I've heard, there are over 200 hours of gameplay. (to compare, I finished Warcraft 3 in a week). One thing to beware of, you'll need a fairly grunty PC to play it well. It runs fine on my Athlon 1.4 with a Geforce 2 GTS, and flawlessly when I put my
Geforce 4 Ti4200 in.
