If you mean clear the cue point from the cue button, or clear the cue point from the hot cue buttons at the top?

i mean once u got your cue point and your holding it down what do u press so the music keeps playing without u holding it down. like on cdjs u can hold the cue button then u press play and then u can realse the cue button.

Don't hold down cue when you want to start a track.

Use play to play, and cue to get back to your cue point. I don't think I have ever used the method your talking about.

you cant do that on the denons.

once you set the cue point, you have to hit play.

ie like the cdj1000mk2 vs cdj1000mk3

What is the advantage of holding down cue/hitting play to start a track over using play from your cue point? Is it just easier to stop the track and return to your cue point?

Personal preference imo.
I like to hit the cue button a lot and i only press play after i've held down the cue button where you'd normally press play.
