Hey, is the Novation Nio an amplified device or is it simply a line out? I eventually wanted to buy a better sound card (external) to drive my AD900's but wanted to kill two birds with one stone and use it for DJ'ing as well which this user in here (http://www.inthemix.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=245523) reckons it can't do.

Thanks for pointing that out! That's a bit of a typo and is meant to be $55. there were a couple minor mistakes in there and they'll all be fixed along with additional products when the sale products go live.

The price on the Novation Nio will actually only be $250, which is cheaper than what's printed in the sale ad! Feel free to head into the store tomorrow or Wednesday if you want to check it out in person or if you need any more advice, but you'll have to order it online on Wednesday evening to get it at that price.

Cool, how much will the NI Audio 4 DJ and the Audio Kontrol 1 cost? controlling Traktor via the Kontrol 1 sounds more tempting the more I read about it.

Reasonably similar range.
I've got the TR-6s and love 'em (well, for the price). The 8XL is a particularly big unit, aimed at getting some decent sub out of the box.

It's an online sale. So you can get it from anywhere in Australia for a flat shipping fee of just $5. So yeah, don't be that guy who turns up to the store after hours for the online sale.

Sif there's a point of comparison between the two! Both are or very different approaches to djing, not to mention that the Ecler is probably at least twice the size of the Rane.
