View Full Version : Attn: Producers (esp Breaks ones)
Hey there All,
I was just in the newsagent and was having a squizz at the new computer music mag and they are running a competition to remix a new Rennie Pilgrim track. If you win he will release it on TCR. So go and enter, lets see an Aussie kick some arse and win the comp ! The Cd attached to the mag has the track and all the samples used to make it. I would love to enter this myself but am just starting out and would be no chance.

Nice, but do keep in mind the closing date, as usually the CM we get in Australia is 2 months behind the release date in the UK. I can't wait 'till i can afford that subscription. :)

for those who dont know Rennie Pilgrem is a fantastic producer and responsible for what we now know as "nuskool breaks"
his buddy BLIM is over here in australia soon... a bandmate of mine is touring with him the lucky bastard, under the guise of Vectrex.... a Brisbane based nuskool project that impressed Tipper enough to release a 12" together (rereremix-o-rama)
yeha shame about the time difference in the magazine.... a lot of UK labels and "indentities" have been preying on our talent over here... to say they are impressed is to evoke the greatest of understatements. we've all been making the most of this but hey, a Rennie remix would be extra great
i might just grab a copy to check out his loops/cuts
theres a Rennie/BLIM remix of an Uberzone track i played once that devastated my sub-woofer..... nasty nasty granular sub-basslines to die for......
grrrrrr-yumyum
ps, thanks for the message....
The close of entries is September 21 I believe (Maybe be end of Sep) so it gives you a month.
