Long time not thread, just a quicky.

The numark x9 mixer has caught my fansy and would look great next to my 400's. It sounds like a great mixer but is it just a DXM09 with a different face plate?

some guys on another forum said this and was wondering if anyone knew the truth.

They look VERY similar, except that the X9 has a way better colour scheme.

as far as i can tell its the exact same mixer, you may as well get a DXM09 and save yourself a few hundred for the next time you break your headphones on the way to a gig :P

nah no gigs yet, still havnt recorded a mix :P

got a dxm06 atm, love the little bugger, cant say ive tried many other mixers tho. except for the pio's but their effects seem a little odd for me.

Looks Dan, Looks, it isnt going to do anything that your mixer doesnt do (except one more channel) And possibly look better next to your CDJ400s.

Why dont you ask the N.E guys for a set at casa?

yeah the extra channel is what im after, and the LP/HP filters will fun.

yeah ill be hitting someone up in the near future, back at uni now so got alot more itme on my hands.

The lights on the DXM09 look nicer than the X9. Green > Yellow.

yep its a DXM09 with a new faceplate. (that's direct from the aus distributor)
