geez i'd be burying my head in preparation for the onslaught of comments likely to come your way
guys around here don't take to kindly to questions about using gear, what is the best, etc, etc
maybe go into your nearest dj hardware outlet and ask one of the staff there for some tips?

Yeh, there's a switch on the back of the KP3 that not many people know about, called the "autoDJ" switch. I wouldn't worry about learning how to beatmatch or any of that technical crap, obviously you've bought all the best gear to create special wooshing, bleeping, blip blipping noises, so it's better to let the actual DJing side of things take care of itself.
But seriously, KP3 also has its own forum on the Korg website.

she isn't asking what gear is best, she wants lessons on using a KP3.
Isabelle, have a search on youtube for some tutorials, also the korg site should have some helpful info for you

well as a serious post, i'd suggest learning to get beat matching down pat before even considering usign the effects.
the KP3 isn't just an effects unit, it would be good to see some more people using it as an instrument

That KP3 video is wicked!
^It has nothing to do with you being female - I think it's more that you bought all top of the range gear (and also production gear), without the slightest clue of where to start.
Maybe it's worth remembering the old addage "from little things, big things grow".
If you start off by learning tune selection and beatmatching, the use of EQ, the internal effects on your mixer and the KP3 may become more obvious, but that'll be a process.
Also, stop using caps lock, please.

What is with ur use of commas? they're aren't fullstops, u know? oh wait, yes u do know, cuz u have also used fullstops. my mate does this too... do u do that by accident, or do u mean to look stupid? and yes, too many caps....
Effects are used to enhance mixes and the vibe/impact of the music, what is the point of knowing how to jam a mix full of efffects without knowing how to mix in the firstplace? i think u'll find a watertight, seemless mix is much more rewarding than gettin ya flange on (female anatomy pun intended).
Get the basics down first, u'll have more fun :thumb:

How do we know that this is legit?
How bout this, you take a photo of yourself holding up something with ITM written on it.
Once we establish you are real, then we can get you the help you need.
There is no need for nudity in the photo, but bonus points will be awarded if that is your preference.
