Hey Guys,

Not sure if this is the appropriate place for an 'intro' but i'll go ahead anyway.

Always loved my music and everything about it and ever since my best mate a year ago bought his decks, i would jump on them everytime i was there.....but with no ambition of going anywhere with them.

After getting good on them, i ended up buying a Behringer BCD3000 (yes, i was on a budget) which at the time was fun, but wasn't getting me anywhere....Practising some more on my mates decks i got better and better until i finally bought my own set up! =)

I've just finished my first ever demo (uplifting/vocal trance) and is available on the 'post your latest mix thread' . All feedback and opinions are welcomed as i can only go up from here and am dieing to get into the scene to DJ.

If anybody knows of any openings somewhere, or someone i could speak to, please do let me know.

Thanks heaps!!!

Hating on trance is the proper thing to do on these boards, borna. ;) But there are plenty of trance fans around, don't worry.

I'm not into it myself, but if Ralph Wiggum says it's a good mix then I believe it.

Just had a quick listen to your demo mix, sounded good :) Same kinda sound as mine.
Good luck with getting gigs and stuff. I'm in the same process atm, gotta start making friends at small trance events imo. Half the people at the smaller gigs are usually in the industry.
Which city are you based in? You asked if there were any openings, but you haven't said where you are :P

I'm kind of at the same point. I have had a couple of gig's but can't get my foot in the door.

I have about four of my own tracks (that are on my myspace) and about three more on the way (all in good time) but i really stuggle getting gigs. The couple i have done have gone really well and the promoters of one asked that i come back but just cant get anything bigger.

I have fired off heaps of email and called people is there anything else i could be doing? Any help would be great.

keep rocking
