i am going to ibiza this year early september and dont know much about the different areas, whos done it all before and where do they reccommend? playa den bossa, ibiza town or the san antonio area??

Stayed at Jet Apartments back in 07. Would not reccomomend them. Both are in PDB

I disagree, stayed at Jet in 07 as well and absolutely loved it! If you want an actual apartment (with kitchen / fridge) then Jet is the way to go.

Stayed in San Antonio last year and it was nice but not as good as Playa den bossa

Ok I'll provide a bit more detail. Location is FANTASTIC with Jet...can't beat it. But for how expensive it is I expected cleaner rooms but the thing that really good me was how damm noisy the whole block was.

I love partying but there were times when I needed to try and sleep for a couple of ages to get my sanity back and couldn't due to the constant noise and screaming ppl.

Just my opinion anyway...

All 3 resorts are close to bars and restaurants and a beach. San Antonio you may need to drive or get a taxi to the beach. Playe den Bossa has a large beach in the resort.
The clubs are pretty scattered around the island, some of the "big 7" are in San Antonio, some in Ibiza Town, and some in the middle of the island.

Definitely recommend Playa Den Bossa and the Jet apartments, if you're not adverse to a party atmosphere. It's right next to Space and Bora Bora, and DC10 is not far.

San Antonio is full of beer boys, slappers and shitty commercial music on the whole.

Ibiza Town is better but is rather Spanish/Italian/gay

I would definitely recommend staying in Playa den Bossa.

I have stayed at Jet Apartments and Hotel Garbi there in previous years. Garbi is absolutely awesome.

Unfortunately my understanding is that bora bora is still restricted to the new laws, those being , bora can start pumping their music from 4:30pm.

Hey I am heading to Ibiza in august 2010 with 2 other mates, we are looking for a hotel/aparment were we are not squashed up in one room. I think that PSD looks like the best spot for us and we are happy to spend $1500 for 4 or 5 nights accomadation. Thanks.

san antonio is rubbish.........shit clubs and full of pommie pissheads.

Playa D' en Bossa is the best choice..........close to space and pacha, 10 minutes to amnesia and privilege and on the beach

There are nice places to stay in San Antonio. Yeah it is a bit tacky in places but you get the sunset every night and its much cheaper than PDB

i disagree... i love san ant.... pommie piss heads maybe... but pommie piss head girls looking for something different to UK blokes... its good...clubs are good too... too many to name a favourite
