I don't know i have not played the demo.

I am a big car game fan, got about 12 differant ones and V8 is so much better, handling wise, then any other car game i have ever played.

Plus there are so many classes of racing, V8 is just a rea lsmall part of the total game.

i played it at EB the other day, i was drivin a WRX at Bathurst and it was really interesting driving it cause the car actually went off boost and came back on boost, after 120 it drops off boost then around 150km it came back on, in corners it was really annoyin if it came on, the car just went straight for the barriers.

but i really wanna buy a PS2 just for this game and GT3

I think it sounds good. GT3 is getting pretty stale now as well.

worth buying if your into car sim games, I was huge into GT3, still play it occasionally with the formula 1 cars...hehehe took me ages to get the special license...

v8 supercars is totally different, looks sounds and driving wise...best part is the damage to the cars and just how hard it is to actually turn corners if breaking of accelerating.....took me quite some time to work it all out.....

i am going to buy it....worth playing for quite a while.., specially multiplayer.....

really enjoyable - graphics aren't as slick as GT3 but definitely do the job -

good AI and damage - bathurst is awesome

you have got to be kidding right? :-O
i mean i only played supercars once on bathurst in a v8, but the physics were absolutely appalling!!
the only good thing about it was the graphics.

it was the worst racing game i've played, and i've played need for speed too!
there was absolutely none of that sense of driving your arse off, right on the edge stuff that you get from gt3.
gt3 is the ultimate car simulator and v8 supercars didn't even come close.

anyone else find the toca series of car games really hard to control after the progressive sterring of gt3?

its like the car goes from 0 to full lock within 5degres movement of the joystick. even after playing with the settings i couldnt find one that felt semi realistic..

maybe its just me?
toca did look nice though, altho those cutscenes! ew! corny!

ahh who cares, bring on vice city
